November 2011

Martin Bacon from the NSPCC came along to our meeting to explain the work that the NSPCC are doing and to talk about the continuing problem with child cruelty.  In recognition of the work that the NSPCC does the club donated £100.


October 2011

Victoria Lawrence of St Catherine’s Hospice attended the club meeting on 17th October and gave a presentation on the work of the hospice.  Following her presentation Martin Vaux (Immediate Past President) presented Victoria with a cheque for £1000 that came from various fund raising activities that the club has undertaken.

The Salvation Army’s Major Chris Sandford  receives a cheque to support their work in the Caterham community from President Jacque Brown


September 2011

Giles Bromley from 450 ATC receives a cheque towards the purchase of a new minibus for the unit from President Jacque Brown.

March 2011

A local scouting couple in Caterham were presented with a Rotary Community Service award to recognise their efforts over many years.  The District Community Chairman Susan Knight was there to witness the presentation.  Seated is then President Martin Vaux.
