Martin Bacon from the NSPCC came along to our meeting to explain the work that the NSPCC are doing and to talk about the continuing problem with child cruelty. In recognition of the work that the NSPCC does the club donated £100.
Victoria Lawrence of St Catherine’s Hospice attended the club meeting on 17th October and gave a presentation on the work of the hospice. Following her presentation Martin Vaux (Immediate Past President) presented Victoria with a cheque for £1000 that came from various fund raising activities that the club has undertaken.

A local scouting couple in Caterham were presented with a Rotary Community Service award to recognise their efforts over many years. The District Community Chairman Susan Knight was there to witness the presentation. Seated is then President Martin Vaux.
